Malabar Gold & Diamonds, a leading jewellery retailer, has announced plans to invest ₹600 crore in the opening of 12 new showrooms across India during the current fiscal year. This move is part of the company’s continued expansion strategy aimed at enhancing its footprint in both domestic and international markets.
The new showrooms will be strategically located in key cities and towns, including Panvel Mumbai, Pune, Brahmapur and Soubhagya Nagar , Dhanbad and several locations in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. The full list of new showroom locations includes Hospet, Nagarbhavi, Chitradurga, Nandyal, Amalapuram, Machilipatanam, and Varanasi. This expansion will bring the company’s total showroom count to 391 across 13 countries and 19 states in India.
Currently, Malabar Gold & Diamonds operates 11 state-of-the-art factories in India and five international units. The company also employs more than 25,000 professionals from 26 different countries. The new showrooms will not only help the company cater to a larger customer base but also create significant employment opportunities.
In addition to the current fiscal expansion, Malabar Gold is planning an even larger growth phase in FY26, with 60 new showrooms expected to open both in India and overseas. As part of its expansion, five stores are set to open in April 2025 across the Middle East, the UK, and Canada.
Commenting on the expansion, MP Ahammed, Chairman of the Malabar Group, stated, “By the end of FY25, we will have 12 new showrooms across the country with an investment of ₹600 crore. This strengthens our position as a trusted brand, offering excellence, integrity, and luxury to our customers worldwide.”
